We love celebrating our pet’s birthdays and sharing yummy treats with them. But we can’t just share all our treats. Dogs have diet parameters and can’t eat human treats, even if it is just every once in a while.

Can Dogs Eat Cheesecake?

Yes, and no.

No, dogs cannot eat regular cheesecake, but yes, they can eat cream cheese.

Dogs can’t eat sugar so that is the main reason that dogs can’t eat traditional cheesecake. This doggy cheesecake recipe for dog bone cake, uses cream cheese mixed with a wheat flour, and wheat germ for added nutrients, to create a cheesecake cake for dogs. It’s sweetened with both applesauce and honey.

What Makes this Dog Bone Cake So Yummy?

Your furry friends will love this dog cake because it’s got both cheesecake and blueberry ice cream.

Blueberry Puppy Ice Cream

It’s a doggy ice cream sandwich!

Of course the blueberry ice cream is safe for dogs too because it’s made with just plain yogurt, honey and fresh blueberries!

okay, Blueberry puppy ice cream. I'm dying. I just lovce your blog. I can't wait to send my daughter over here tomorrow LOL. So she can feed my granddog some of the wonderful treats LOL.

  2. Oh I so want a dog. My hubby says 4 kids, 2 cats and a useless reptile (his!) is enough for now. NOT! I loved these pics of your baby. I had a dog as a child who somehow KNEW which gift under the Christmas tree was hers. She NEVER messed with any package except hers. Dogs, gotta love em!

  3. Oh, that pooch is adorable!!! I want a dog!!! Of course, hubby says no. I once had a beta fish. I named him Earl. Earl loved me. That's the closest I've come to "permission" to own a pet. But Earl is swimming in the sewer somewhere now. Sigh…..

  6. Stopping by from sits. Your puppy is adorable. We have a 14 yr old aussie shepherd who is our big puppy. She would love that Blueberry
