This carrot cake for dogs is one of the healthiest treats you can make for your furry pet!
I personally love carrot cake! It’s my favorite cake. But since I can’t share my human version of carrot cake, chock full of walnuts, pineapple, cinnamon spice and carrots, I wanted to make a carrot cake for dogs that they’d love just as much!
Dogs are such an important part of our lives. Regardless of how things change, no one, no thing, can take the place of a beloved pet.
Carrot Cake for Dogs
The best tasting carrot cake for dogs that your little furry pet will go carrots over! Plus it’s just a one bowl recipe that is super easy to make!
During the time that we painfully struggled with infertility for 8 years, we adopted two dogs. Danger and Tipsy blessed us with companionship, love and unending affection. Whether you are a dog person or not, it’s impossible to deny the friendship and solace a pet can bring into your life.
Our little dog Tipsy loves carrots. Whenever I take them out of the fridge, wherever she is, she comes running. She jumps and whines and begs mercilessly until I give in, and then once she has her prize she trots over to the nearest blanket, sprawls out, and devours that carrot leaving tiny entrails all over the house.
This carrot cake for dogs is just for her!

Can I Feed my Dog this Cake Without Making Him Sick?
I cannot answer that question, as I’m neither a doctor nor a veterinarian. I also don’t know the specific diet restrictions of your pet.
I do know that all the ingredients in this recipe are not harmful to dogs, generally speaking. I have fed this pumpkin cake to my dogs and there were no side effects.
The ingredients in this cake are safe for animal ingestion. There is no white sugar and no white flour.
Your specific pet may not be able to tolerate all these ingredients. That is between you and your pet, or vet.
