Do you know animals can sense events before they happen? Like when you are about to head to the kitchen to bake them some homemade dog treats with rolled oats!
It’s true!
Throughout history, animals have been documented as behaving erratically prior to earthquakes and volcanic eruptions leading to a theory that animals can detect major events hours, days and even weeks in advance.
Certainly, the holidays are no exception. Your loyal friend can smell special events coming all year long! He doesn’t want to be left out! He deserves new toys on Christmas, lavish affection on his birthday, and extra treats every time you whip something up in the kitchen!

Especially at Christmas! The very first name you should cross off your Christmas list is Fido.
Like my little special furry friend Danger, your doggie won’t be able to resist snatching this treat from your generous hands!

Are Oats Good for Dogs?
Rolled oats are a great natural grain to feed dogs. They are versatile, full of antioxidants, full of linoleic acid to keep skin strong and healthy, and they are anti-inflammatory so they are perfect to pair with cheese!

What is a Good Flavored Spreadable Cheese?
There are lots of great options to choose from when it comes to spreadable cheese. Laughing Cow, President, Wisconsin Cheese and Glacier Ridge Farms.
I personally like Alouette Cheese. Any flavor will your doggy biscuits an extra pack of flavor.
Is Cheese OK for Dogs to Eat?
If your dog is like my dog, he will do just about anything for cheese.
Cheese is a great treat for dogs, and super tasty, which is why these are such a favorite. Just like humans though, it can make them gassy. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
Molly in Alabama!?!?!?! YESSSSSSSS!!! You rock lady. You ansolutely rock. And so do these puppy treats, which will most likely be Molly and Sammie's stocking stuffers this year. Thanks for this!
I love making my babies treats and am always looking for receipes. I learned last year not to wrap treats and put them under the tree…..and I thought I could sniff out Christmas presents. LOL
I wish I had a little doggie to make treats for. Danger sure seems to be enjoying himself!!
Looks to me like Danger might eat them all! What a cute idea. Are there any for cats? I'll slide on over and see.
How wonderful for Fido, Danger and all the lucky doggies out there who will get this treat!
