One of our favorite things to do as a family is spend the day at the beach. A trip to the beach always includes a picnic lunch and always includes cookies. Apple peanut cookies for dogs are our dog’s favorite cookies.
Psst: Humans can eat these cookies for dogs too!
Cannon Beach
Living in Portland, Oregon we are just a mere hour from our favorite place: Cannon Beach. There is a lush green Ecola park just a few strides from a great sandy location sandwiched between Logan Creek and the ocean with a short bluff to block the wind.
It’s the perfect place for reading a book and having a picnic!

Cannon Beach is also home to Bruce’s Candy Kitchen with incomparable salt water taffy, and Ecola Seafoods Restaurant and Market a delectable fishy eatery.
More importantly, Cannon Beach is a dog friendly leashless dog beach! Your entire family will love spending the day soaking up the sun, swimming in the ocean, catching up on reading, and enjoying yummy cookies!
Apple Peanut Butter dog treats are a great carb loaded treat to refresh your pup after running up and down the sandy beach and swimming in the ocean chasing balls and kites.
