Our First Pet

We brought Danger home just one week before Thanksgiving. He was just 8 weeks old.

Our little puppy is named Danger because of the adorable little fur mask framing his eyes. He cried the first few nights missing his brothers and sisters, but then he realized how much we loved him, and would love him forever.

Dog and Woman

Danger’s doggy birthday is in the fall, so pumpkin cake is one of his favorite flavors!

Is this Pumpkin Cake for Dogs Really That Easy?

Can I Feed my Dog this Cake Without Making Him Sick?

I cannot answer that question, as I’m neither a doctor nor a veterinarian. I also don’t know the specific diet restrictions of your pet.

I do know that all the ingredients in this recipe are not harmful to dogs, generally speaking. I have fed this pumpkin cake to my dogs and there were no side effects.

The ingredients in this cake are safe for animal ingestion. There is no white sugar and no white flour.

Your specific pet may not be able to tolerate all these ingredients. That is between you and your pet, or vet.

  1. OhMyGosh – that's hysterical!!! I've never seen a dog open a present like that — he's amazing. I cracked up too, cause I saw the first picture, and then the second and said there's no way that can be the same dog — did all his hair fall out? Then I read about the haircut — too funny. Happy Birthday Danger!!!
